Meet Oliver Ward

Originally I’m from across the pond, and after graduating from the University of Cambridge, I worked as a language assistant in France and a parliamentary researcher in the House of Commons.

A move to the States allowed me to earn a master’s degree in political science from the University of Virginia and a JD from the University of Richmond School of Law, magna cum laude, where I was also the online editor of the Law Review.

I then clerked for Justice McCullough of the Supreme Court of Virginia, gaining an invaluable background in appellate litigation and judicial decision-making. This experience would prove to be pivotal later on.

Having navigated the U.S. visa process myself, I dedicated the first few years of my career to immigration law and successfully litigated matters before the USCIS Administrative Appeals Office. This accomplishment led me to pursue appellate advocacy and my passion for writing compelling and strategic briefs.

In my free time, I enjoy trivia, golf,  football (or “soccer” as it’s called here) and traveling with my wife to tropical destinations.
