What does it mean to be an appeals firm that practices statewide?

By running a virtual law firm, I am able to represent Virginians from Northern Virginia to Southwestern Virginia and Tidewater. If a client has an appeal in the Court of Appeals of Virginia or Supreme Court of Virginia, I may be able to assist them–even if they live hours away.

From the client’s standpoint, I offer the convenience of a client being able to call me from their home or home office and eliminate travel time or commutes from their schedule. Although I have conference space available if needed, it is important that clients gain the advantage of saving time and money by being able to access everything they need virtually. Clients can e-sign documents, view their case file online, conduct a Zoom call with me, and make any needed payments electronically (without being charged for service fees). 

The Court of Appeals of Virginia travels across the state to hear oral arguments on appeal, and I may need to travel to argue a client’s case. But because the Courts themselves accept e-filings and are now accustomed to receiving and sending information electronically, my practice is very modern and can largely be done from my central location. This allows me to assist clients wherever my help is needed, and enables me to efficiently run my practice.
